The Beth - Cocktail
If cocktails were TV series, this is definitely not a Sex in the City or Gossip Girl type cocktail. Think Yellowstone meets Peaky Blinds - a bit of grit, sassy, unapologetic with a little bit of kick in the pants at the end!!
All that to say - this is not for the faint-hearted!! If you are into fruity, sweet cocktails probably sit this one out. But, if you are a little like Beth, this cocktails is for you - strong, spicy and a little unexpected. Enjoy!
RECIPE
60mls Parts Rum (we like to use Appleton Estate)
30mls Lime Juice
30mls Spiced Sugar Syrup (add cloves, cinnamon, star anise to your sugar syrup when it is cooking and leave it in the fridge for a while to really let the spice infuse into the syrup)
METHOD
Add all the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake until well chilled.
Strain into a coupe and garnish with spices or a lime twist.
Makes 1 serve.
