The Weekly Seven

Hello 2023 and Happy New Year to You! Wishing you good health and happiness in the year ahead. Here are some of my favourite things this week as we say goodbye to the challenges of 2022.

1.  2023 Trends

Our homes can provide a much-needed sanctuary from the world and an opportunity to refresh and reset. Interior design trends we are noticing for 2023 crave a brighter outlook and connection with our homes. As we look towards a bright 2023, it is interesting to see a wide range of colours, textures and materials growing in popularity. We are excited about the year ahead and we see that optimism being reflected in design through curves, arches, opulence and calming botanical colours. We can't wait to see what else this year brings!

2. Emperor Peony Wallpaper

In contrast to its blousy Victorian contemporaries, the Chinese inspired decorative style of this 1920’s Jeffrey & Co. archive design is adorned with large peonies and tropical butterflies. A wide width wallpaper, its opaque detail pays homage to the block printed original, elevated even further by the addition of subtle metallic highlights. Absolutely stunning and radiant colours!

 7. Vanilla Chai Brew

An infusion of aromatic spices blended with creamy plant-based milk (Oat milk is my personal fav!) - you really can't go wrong! This chai blend is cost effective, easy to make, delicious and you can easily make a batch to enjoy over ice for a refreshing summer drink! A great coffee alternative to enjoy over the holiday season. Chai is a firm favourite in the Husband household and a great drink to have on hand for when the cravings strike. Enjoy hot, cold or blended with ice, these holidays!
