The Weekly Seven

Hello Sunday! Here are some of my favourite things this week as we look to nature and global trends as a source of inspiration... Also don't miss our amazing March offer for free motorisation of blinds.

1.  Royal Peacock-Fabric

A luxury textile featuring peacocks, created under the masterful direction of Academy Award winner, Catherine Martin. The collection is inspired by the film, Elvis (Catherine's husband is Baz Luhrmann the producer). Illustrating the glamour of Elvis’s rock and roll lifestyle this plush, richly coloured animal print is a showstopper. It would make amazing curtains, cushions or a fabulous feature bed head.

2. Arte Shoji Blossom

Symbolic cherry blossoms and straight lines resembling the minimalistic feel of Japanese Shoji screens. This monotone 3D wallcovering made from denim radiates tranquility. Such incredible detail don't you think? You cannot help but touch it!!

 3. Kimono Wall Hanging

Japanese culture is bursting with colour and life, a fact that’s reflected in the country’s vibrant landscape and striking architecture. For centuries, nature has been the cornerstone of Japanese heritage. Cherry blossom season is a time of joy and celebration: the rebirth of Mother Nature. This wall hanging encompasses all that is beautiful about this season.

 7. Hostess Hack

Who doesn't love a good cheat to make life a little easier and gain maximum hostess impact with minimal effort!!

One of my super easy dessert tricks is to whip a 250ml bottle of cream and then add a tin of caramel condensed milk and whip together until thoroughly mixed. Throw it in the fridge for a few hours and then serve with fresh fruit. It's perfect with all the nectarines, peaches and late strawberries at the moment. All that fabulousness for two minutes of effort!!
