The Weekly Edit

With Christmas fast approaching, there’s still time to transform your home into a festive haven for family and friends.

On The Weekly Edit this week we talk about a few thoughtful updates—like adding fresh wallpaper, swapping out cushions, and incorporating new decorative touches—can make all the difference.

Styled by Emma, these small changes will create a warm, inviting space perfect for holiday gatherings.

1. Festive Wallpaper

Wallpaper is one of the quickest ways to transform a room, instantly adding character and style with minimal effort. With endless patterns and textures to choose from, it’s easy to find a design that brings warmth and charm into your space, creating a beautiful backdrop for holiday gatherings.

Whether you opt for a bold print or a subtle texture, wallpaper can be a game-changer in elevating your home’s look. For the Christmas season, consider wallpaper in rich hues or festive patterns to capture the holiday spirit.

I am not talking Santa’s Sleigh across your wall but think deep greens, reds, or even metallic accents that reflect the warmth of holiday lights. A simple update like this brings a fresh, festive vibe that will wow your guests and make your home feel ready for the most wonderful time of the year.

Loving for 2024

As the calendar flips over into November the Christmas wreaths go up! I have seen some lovely ones online but I would love to do a Wreath Making class. Does anybody know any good ones?

Design Tip

Bring a Christmas feel into your space by adding small touches like fresh greenery, decorative bows, or textiles in festive colours. These subtle additions create a holiday atmosphere without overwhelming your decor or requiring too many seasonal items.

Quote of the Week

“If you need me today, I’ll be eating Halloween candy and listening to Christmas music.”
