The Weekly Seven

Hello Sunday - Here are some of my favourites this week and wishing you all well in the build up to Christmas!

1.  Gallardo Fabric

This 100% linen, yarn-dyed and double-width fabric hasn’t stolen its name, which means joyous. Reminiscent of the imperfect linear shapes of a bamboo forest, Gallardo features a cheerfully rhythmic interplay of lines. With an airy look and a palette of colours composed of fifteen vivid shades, Gallardo expresses a sense of unrestrained happiness. So light and beautiful!

2. Allium Wallpaper

A contemporary, geometric take on the traditional floral motif, Allium takes the striking herbaceous perennial and creates a bold repeat of blooming clusters. With a burst of colour and texture, the allium spheres of flora, combined with their long, leafless stems, makes a unique floral stripe. Wallpaper project 2023 anyone??

 3. Dragonfly Light

The Dragonfly Balance Light is both beauty and function. Laser cut from the highest quality walnut wood, the dragonfly rests upon the simple cylindrical base. It can also be spun for extra wow-factor. With LED lights hidden under the wings, simply touch the almost invisible touchpoint to change the light emitted from the lamp, to one of four brightness settings. A wonderfully unique design and its own sculptural piece of art... Simply stunning!

 4. Teardrop Light Bulb Lamp

A culmination of innovative and forward-thinking lighting solutions the floating teardrop light bulb lamp will provide the perfect glow-up for any space. The stunning visual of a light bulb seemingly floating mid-air is not an illusion. The base of the light and holder have powerful magnets that suspend the light and wirelessly transfers power through magnetic induction. Merely moving the bulb close to the holder sets it in place and switches it on. Any accidental knocks simply connect the bulb to its holder, ensuring that it never drops. Desk lighting at its best!

 5. Soapstone Dish

A beautiful example of perfectly imperfect tableware made to modern sensibilities using traditional craftsmanship techniques. These beautiful hand-formed dishes make a stunning addition to the kitchen, but are also perfect for storing and displaying precious items such as jewellery. Kenyan Soapstone is a metamorphic rock that consists of the mineral talc. The natural minerals found within soapstone make each Asili piece completely unique. Hand crafted in Western Kenya - this would make an original and beautiful gift!

 6. Mountain Liquor Decanter

Display your liquor in style with this unique mountain decanter. This crystal decanter pays homage to the lofty peaks of the Pacific Northwest with a hand-blown, dimensional mountain base. There is a uniqueness to every piece with subtle variations within the glass. A beautiful gift with matching glasses available to enjoy your favourite drink!

 7. 50th Anniversary

We were so privileged to celebrate the second 50th Wedding Anniversary in our family last week - this time with my wonderful parents! We dined and looked through wedding photos and read cards and telegrams with messages of advice and humour from friends and family, some long since passed.

Congratulations on 50 years being married Mum and Dad! What a family legacy of love and devotion you have created!
