The Weekly Seven

Hello Sunday! Here are some of my favourite things this week, including colourful inspiration from Design Day and an ocean swim for happiness!

1.  Ex Libris Wallpaper

Delve into Fornasetti’s unique and dreamlike world with fanciful wallpaper designs and a little bit of quirky! An avid collector of literary volumes on the applied arts, Fornasetti used books as a recurring theme. The library trompe l'oeil scene of Ex Libris, is abundant with leather-bound books adapted from a 1953 screen. Such a creative wallcovering for the book lovers amongst us!

2. Black Edition Erbusco Fabric

The epitome of luxury this textural velvet features an elegant damask design innovatively created to have the appearance of deep embossing. So luxurious and elegant - the colour is divine! This beautiful, timeless fabric would make the most amazing headboard!

 3. Vladimir Floor Lamp

The floor lamp from the Danish brand Broste Copenhagen has a classic design with an elegant touch. It is timeless and fits all types of interiors. Subtle and understated but extremely elegant - I would love one of these in my sitting room!

 4. Aldwin Two Seater Sofa

This 2 Seater Sofa is just the right level of luxe.

It offers cotton and linen blend upholstery in a chic charcoal colourway, as well as a comfortable cushion back and beautiful stud detailing. Style and comfort in one beautiful piece - and you have to love a little bit of stud detail!!

 5. Wesley Sideboard

This pretty oak sideboard provides excellent storage in any area of the house. A classic sturdy sideboard perfect for home organisation and tucking away all those items you want to hide out of sight. Such a gorgeous and versatile piece of home furniture!

 6. Design Day

This week we visited Design Day in Christchurch which was an opportunity to see all the latest collections from our industry suppliers. It is a great day to fuel inspiration and we are excited to share some beautiful new products with you.  7. Happiness & Well-being

Happiness and well-being is a topic we love to discuss and promote at Feather & Oak. One of the things I love to do is go for an ocean swim! (now that I have a lovely warm wetsuit!!)

I also incorporate little morning walks with the kids and Pilates regularly into my week. Let us know what you love to do to keep those happiness endorphins in check!
