This client's stunning fabric formed the foundation of her curtain choice. It was love at first sight with this Mokum, Mizu Garden fabric. The sheers were a contrasting ink colourway which gave a dramatic tone to the room. A roman blind was also incorporated in a platinum colourway to compliment but not detract from the bold statement of the curtains.
These gorgeous curtains have a double track system with a lined curtain on the front track for insulation and a sheer on the rear track. This is a beautiful and functional combination!
Double tracks have been a popular choice and it's no wonder as the benefits are endless. Having a beautiful sheer fabric against a heavy insulating lining allows for light filtration and soft light during the day with maximum cosyiness and privacy at night.
There are also endless colour combinations that can be created by layering contrasting or complimentary colours together.
This client chose a double-track systems with the sheer Charles Parsons soft stripe in Platinum and the lining on the rear track. These have been mounted on ceiling which helps create a feeling of spaciousness. A New York pleat compliments the room and fabric perfectly.
You may lean towards a neutral, textured fabric which floats quietly in the background. This is always a classic choice, and you are guaranteed that these will stand the test of time. This client selected a New York pleat with all the tracks mounted under the coving. It looks elegant and timeless.
A bold Charles Parsons Ventura fabric in colour 'tango' formed the start point for this client. This colour-loving client wanted something to brighten up the room and they were keen to have a vibrant and uplifting colour. There is no denying colours effect mood and this colour would be an instant mood booster!
