& Quote!
Welcome to my Weekly Seven round-up; and what a busy week it has been! The cooler weather is definitely settling in, so get cosy and check out what I've been loving this week - From all things thermal blinds, denim wallpaper, tartan hip flasks and a new cook-book I cannot wait to dive into!
1. Fabric Fun!
How FUN is this Black Edition fabric - I cannot wait to see this looking fabulous on some windows. A cleverly cut fringe creates a three-dimensional feathered effect, forming a beautiful drapery fabric - the movement is so clever!
2. Denim Wallpaper
Arte's latest collaboration with Moooi offers five super extraordinary wallcoverings using incredibly unique techniques, and my favourite is 100% this awesome denim design - intertwined with beautiful Japanese inspired patternwork. Wallpaper goals!!
3. Thermal Blinds
Now that the chilly temperatures have hit insulation at our windows is one really effective way to trap warm air in and keep the cold air out.
Pleated or honeycomb blinds are one of the most thermally-efficient window coverings you can use and we have lots of options in store for you to look over.
4. Mirror, Mirror - On The Wall!
Check out this gorgeous Iron Pane Mirror that has landed in store.. photos do not do it justice so please pop in and see it in it's glory!! (He's a whopping 2m high!)
5. International Donut Day
In celebration of International Donut Day that just passed this Friday, I went hunting for a fun easy (& healthy) donut recipe that would be a winner in the kids lunches and these Banana Bread Donuts may just do the trick! I'll definitely be saving this to my pin board to make this week.
6. Tartan Hip Flask
This is one seriously cool gift that I was so excited to see land at the F&O Headquarters - it's a unique & classy piece for someone special in your life.
(Maybe we will sneak a little gin in there..shhhh!)
7. Long Weekend Luxury
Who else is looking forward to this long weekend? I can't wait to get ahead of some winter chores at home and feel like I am getting organised as we race towards the second half of the year - gulp!!
I'm also planning some downtime and want to dive into this new book I purchased - HomeGrown Kitchen by Nicola Galloway - Everyday Recipes For Eating Well. Hopefully I will get lots of delicious, but achievable, ideas for those pesky lunches which I always struggle to make for myself.
