The Weekly Seven
Hello, Sunday!
Grab a cuppa, get cosy and let's take a peek at all of the wonderful things I've been loving this week!
From swoon worthy sideboards, retro vibes and my new year habits.
1. Hors Saison
This panorama wallpaper from the Elitis collection is a drawn design of a landscape along the coast. I love how it evokes the feeling of calm, it would make a talking point in any room!.
2. Retro Vibes
I'm having a love affair with all things mid-century this week - and these Orla Kiely patterns are nothing short of charming, uplifting and instantly recognisable. Her love of pattern, colour, texture and rhythm, all play and work together in harmony and are the perfect way to add some personality to your soft furnishings over the summer months!
3. Swoon Worthy Sideboards
This week we welcomed our new look book! It is full of our favourite consoles, sideboards, cabinets, buffets and shelving - all of these furniture types are the ultimate meeting of functionality and aesthetics. Be sure to take a browse, we know that finding the perfect piece of furniture can be hard so our talented team has made the process stress and worry free!
4. Rhythm & Expression
This week on the blog we explored the vast beauty of African style - an intimate dance between rhythm and expression. Tactile textiles, handcrafted items, playful patterns and natural materials are on our styling radar this season. Head to the blog to find out how you can build this look at home.
5. Lauro Club Chair
One of my new favourites in store - the Lauro Club Chair is a simple and sophisticated combination of sleek steel and sink-in comfort. I can most definitely visualise myself sinking into this on a sunny Summers day with a good book!
6. Wonderful Wall Art
Wall art has the ability to completely transform a space! We've just had this wonderful bird scene land (pun intended) in-store - what I love is that it doubles as not only a wall piece, but as a screen or headboard for your bed! It's versatility and vibrancy make this a truly special work of art.
7. Atomic Habits
I recently purchased the book Atomic Habits by James Clear. The premise of the book is that change comes through hundreds of small decisions compounding together rather than big grand gestures. I'm looking forward to diving into the detail and building some really great habits for 2022 (and letting go of some bad ones!!) Small changes always seem so much more achievable and that is exactly what we need when we start ramping back onto the busy of the year. I would love to hear about any new habits you are forming!
