The Weekly Seven

Hello, Sunday! It's time to get warm and cozy and take a peek at the beautiful things I've been loving this week. From bold checks, houndstooth chairs and lots of lovely, warm spring feelings!

1. Derby

I'm in love with this unique take on traditional country-style wallpapers. This collection features elegant trotting horses, gleaming horse shoes, leather saddles, bridles, boots and carriages in a illustrative display of traditional wallpapers with a contemporary twist. The intricate designs, warm country feel and muted colours of the collection are sure to bring a touch of elegance to any space.

2. Check Beauty

I'm always on the lookout for new ways to add interest to a space, and lately I've been drawn to checks. Whether it's a bold tartan or a more subtle gingham, I love the way a check can add texture and visual interest to a room.

 3. Houndstooth Love

There are few pieces of furniture that look just as fabulous from the front as they do from the side. This is one of those rare exceptions!! I adore the detailing of the armrests, the fantastic design and the sturdy yet stylish legs are just stunning from every angle.

 4. Resin Bowl

How pretty is this earthly toned handmade bowl with a resin amber finish? I love that each bowl is a unique piece, making it a thoughtful addition to any home. The hand-painted design is inspired by nature and features an array of earth tones that are sure to complement any décor.

 5. Leather Strapped Lamp

This may just be my new favourite lamp! This stunning Glass and Tan Leather Lamp has brass detailing which gives it an elegant and timeless look. It looks sensational in a lodge, traditional, or farmhouse setting. It is a lovely height for an occasional table or as a low lamp on a sideboard or console.

 6. Project Highlights

I love getting started on projects that have been waiting in the wings for awhile! This exciting build is in the design concept stage - I'll be sure to give you some of my design inspo along the journey of bringing this Queenstown retreat to life!

 7. Spring Feelings

With a few warm days this week (can I hear a 'finally' from our Feather and Oak Family??!) my mind has immediately jumped ahead to spring. Some clear nights and mornings has shown that the days are lengthening and there are a few brave narcissus flowering in defiance of the cold rain.

Is it wrong to be planning some Christmas shopping too?? I feel like the year is going to rocket away now we are in August so I'm planning on starting some online shopping. Look out for our brand new online store coming soon - it's getting exciting and I can't wait to show you the changes!
