The Weekly Seven
Hello Sunday!
Here are some of my favourites this week! We are discussing which Interior decisions should be made first and Liv & Josh are sharing some of their best new build decisions on the blog. Make yourself comfy and have a read!
1. Madhya Wallpaper
Highly detailed figurative trees, leaves and flowers in tonal shades create this beautiful and lush exotic forest in this decorative wallpaper scene. Digitally printed onto a smooth nonwoven paper and available in three beautiful colourways. Such a beautiful and evocative
wallcovering for a feature wall of dreams!
2.
Boracay Taupe Fabric
Boracay Collection is made with 100% linen. Boracay is the perfect sheer drape for creating a relaxed oasis in the comfort of your own home. There is so much to love about this earthy and grounding fabric! The perfect choice for those that love natural materials and colours that won't overpower other elements in the room. Subtle, earthy and gorgeous don't you think?
3. Interior Choices
Sometimes it can be tricky to know where to start with your interior journey when needing to select colours and materials. A great tip, that we tell our wonderful clients, is to start with the largest areas of real estate in the room and where you have the least choice - think flooring and windows. Our floors take up large amounts of space within our interiors and we often have walls of windows that in the evening are covered with fabric.
Focus on selecting these two elements first and other decisions like paint colours can flow from there.
4. How to find us
There are many ways to access our new Studio.
Our studio can be accessed via Blake Street or Good Street and has wonderful client parking. It is directly behind where our retail store was situated at 166 High Street. You can also wander through Conway lane or the new Good Street lane, grab a coffeee and pop your head in to say hi.
We look forward to welcoming you to our studio!
5. Foret Flooring
We were excited to receive a visit from one of our newest suppliers last week, Alan for Foret (French for forest).
Foret imports beautiful French Oak flooring which is beautiful and highly durable. French foresters, who’ve been growing oak sustainably for over 350 years ensure their forests maintain a well-kept equilibrium, with a protection policy that ensures no more trees are taken than can sustainably be replaced.
French oak has a tighter grain than other oak species and is commonly favoured due to its qualities which allow it to stain well, absorb more colour and produce a longer-lasting finish. Floors manufactured from this timber represent a timeless, indisputable elegance and refinement.
6.
