The Weekly Edit

I want to wish you a very Happy New Year. Thank you for your support over the last year. It has been a year of change, and we are excited about all that is to come! Bring on 2024!

1.   Farewell to 2023

Saying farewell to the year that has been full of highs and lows and learning and resilience! I haven’t met many people that enjoy challenge and change, but after we have journeyed that season we can take away experiences and tools-learned that are useful and helpful for ourselves and others in the future. How wise we will be in our twilight years!!

I’m looking forward to a new year and all the exciting projects we are working on with our fabulous and loyal customers and of course with our amazing team of champion women. I’m looking at you 2024 and I can’t wait to see what’s instore!

2. Project Highlight

Lighting projects are always fun and this cluster of David Trubridge lights turned out so well. Thanks so much to the electricians for playing with the height and placement - no matter how much you plan, there is nothing quite like your eye on the day to finally bring all the elements together!!

 3. New Year Punch

Are you hosting a New Year’s Eve Party?

This minted mimosa punch is a super delicious way to serve a cocktail for a crowd! Instead of doing individual cocktails make a big pitcher of sparkling citrus punch and stud it with strawberries and fresh mint.

Simply add 2 bottles of champagne, half a bottle of vodka, orange juice and ginger-ale to a large punch bowl or pitcher and add orange slices, fresh berries and fresh mint.

So delicious and easy to throw together - everyone will think you are amazing!!

Plan for the year ahead

I’m a sucker for a new year planner and intend to put some effort into building small positive elements into every day to build good habits for the year ahead - more sleep is a big area to work on for me!

Favourite Memory of 2023

I loved going to the Court Theatre this year for Valentines Day! Brilliant, hilarious and talented - I’m looking ahead to some new shows for 2024.

Bucket list for 2024

We are celebrating 25 years of marriage this year (wow - how did that happen)??!! We are looking to celebrate somewhere special - any recommendations throw them my way!
