The Weekly Edit

This week we are excited to announce we are dipping our toes back into retail! We have missed our shop so are starting to curate decor items, and are looking to launch a selection of gorgeous designer cushions.

We also showcase the before and after pictures of styling Daisy Dagg’s shelves and give some tips for styling a buffet.

1. Cushions for Sale

We miss having our store at Feather and Oak, so we’re exploring new ways to bring our favourite decor items directly to you. With the evolving shopping landscape, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be trialling some of our curated pieces for sale through Instagram and perhaps an online store.

This approach allows you to enjoy our unique selections and effortlessly enhance your home decor from the comfort of your own space.

First up, we have some gorgeous designer cushions featuring exquisite fabrics from Kate Spade and Black Edition. These cushions come in a delightful mix of stripes, spots, and floral patterns, making them perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any room.

Each design is carefully chosen to complement the others, creating a cohesive and stylish look when combined. If you’re interested in purchasing these beautiful pieces, whether it be one or all please reach out to us here...

2. Daisy's Shelves

Recently, Emma our Stylist visited Daisy Dagg's house to restyle her shelving units. Emma and Daisy collaborated closely, utilising decor pieces Daisy already owned while purchasing a few additional items to complete the look.

Together, they transformed the shelves, creating a fresh and stylish display that reflected Daisy's personality and taste. The process was both enjoyable and rewarding, showcasing how a few thoughtful changes can make a big difference.

Styling with Feather and Oak Interiors doesn’t have to be a massive undertaking. It can be as simple as rearranging a room, restyling a set of shelves, or helping source the perfect artwork or decor pieces. Emma's expertise ensures that even the smallest projects can make a significant impact, bringing new life and a sense of harmony to any space.

 3. Buffet Styling

Styling something as simple as a buffet can be a daunting task for many, but not for our style guru Emma. With extensive experience in transforming buffets into stunning focal points, Emma has honed her skills to make the process seamless and enjoyable.

Her keen eye for detail and innate sense of style ensures that every buffet she touches becomes a beautifully curated space. A couple of tips on styling a buffet include grouping items in odd numbers, which creates a visually appealing balance. Incorporating a variety of heights and materials adds depth and interest.

Additionally, placing a focal point behind the buffet, such as a piece of artwork or a mirror, anchors the display and draws the eye. If you want help styling your buffet, book a styling date with Emma here...

4. Katy's Mini Edit

Loving for 2024

I am loving big round mirrors behind a buffet for their ability to effortlessly create a sense of space and elegance in any room.

Design Tip

For optimal impact you can place a large round mirror opposite a window to reflect natural light and make the room feel brighter and more spacious.

Tips For June

Welcome to winter! To create a cosy atmosphere in winter add layers of soft textiles like plush throws and chunky knit blankets to your living spaces.
