The Weekly Edit

We know life is busy but with a bit of forward thinking your home can be perfectly primmed for summer. This week it’s all about beautiful linens, barbeque recipes and an effortless Citrus Rosé Cocktail.

1.   Resene Summer Colours

We are loving this vibrant and joyful summer colour combination from Resene. An uplifting palette with fresh complimentary colours on display with a feature wall in Sergeants Hill and how about that gorgeous lavender ceiling colour in Tūrangi?

This palette works well with Ōkārito, a cool fresh white perfect for modern, open-plan spaces. AMAZING colours for summer!!

2. Bronte Stripes

Classic stripes were a big trend at Design Day this week and we are seeing them everywhere from cushions and drapes to upholstery.

Inspired by coastal living and the beauty of the breezy beachside, BRONTE is a striped, timeless, contemporary sheer that is perfect for creating relaxed and airy spaces.

Self-weighted with a continuous 320cm wide width, BRONTE brings a Hamptons style to an interior, as well as calming, serene and romantic moods. Get new curtains in time for Christmas - yes please!!

 3. Dreaming Of BBQ's

We all love the BBQ season, but we often overlook our outdoor areas until the guests start arriving. Eeek!!

If you want to host great BBQ’s this summer, there are a few things you should start thinking about now.

Preparation is key! Spring clean your space with brooms, brushes and my favourite outdoor tool - the water blaster! Then consider the aesthetic of your outdoor spaces and add some fresh cushions and a rug. Having a simple menu is essential for hosting the perfect barbeque - grab my simple BBQ recipe here.
